Paul was therefore elected unopposed as there were less nominations than positions available. The Committee has 5 to 9 positions including President and Treasurer. A new deadline has been set for 19 April at 530pm![]()
To ensure the stability of the club going forward Paul Rushton withdrew his resignation from the President position prior to the deadline and has therefore agreed to continue as President temporarily until a new succession plan is established by the management committee. Should anyone be interested in taking on the role of President please contact Paul or another committee member to discuss further. ![]()

📣 CLUBHOUSE DUTY OFFICERS - Paid casual roles ![]()
⭐️ We are seeking Clubhouse Duty Officers for match days, particularly Friday nights, Academy match days on Sundays, and FQPL 4 Men’s matches. The role description is below. Shifts are usually 3-4 hours as part of a team. Hours are during the football season (February to September) and vary week to week. This is not a replacement for a part time or full-time role as it might only be one shift per week. A commitment until end of season is required. ![]()
The current 5 committee members all perform this role along with other roles as volunteers , and need help to cover matches from Friday nights to Sunday afternoons. While we appreciate offers to help here and there, we need regular helpers who can be properly oriented to manage situations that arise. ![]()

⭐️⭐️ CLUBHOUSE DUTY OFFICER (CDO)
The primary aim of the role is to ensure the clubhouse functions effectively on match days to satisfy FQ and club requirements in terms of duty of care.
Orientation, training and ongoing support from the committee are all provided. Phone support is always available.
There is usually more than one CDO on shift when there are multiple fields operating with numerous games scheduled. ![]()
DUTIES
1. Be present in and around the clubhouse wearing the Ground Official (GO) vest (not at other fields unless there are multiple CDO’s or an emergency)
2. Being a Head GO and advising team GO’s as required.
3. Opening the Referees room and change rooms as needed
4. Providing ice for any injured players
5. Helping canteen staff and trainees when needed (occasional)
6. Directing people to field maps as required
7. Answering queries from people as required
8. Accessing the first aid kit for minor assistance
9. Calling the ambulance if a player is seriously injured and escorting the ambulance to end of carpark for field 1 (very rare)
10. Serving in the bar during bar hours if you have an RSA (optional role for volunteer)
11. Occasional opening and closing of the clubhouse (optional role for volunteer)
12. Assisting referees when needed (eg which field to be on at what time)
13. Contacting management committee members, and canteen and bar manager, when clarification is needed.
14. For senior games escorting referees on and off the field when needed (optional role for volunteer)![]()
Essential
- an RSA (or a willingness to acquire one quickly)
- ability to work independently and take initiative![]()
Desirable
- a Food Safety Certificate ( or a willingness to acquire one quickly)
- a knowledge of football club protocols
(NB the club can cover the cost of the RSA and FSC if needed)

Join the team at Robina City FC. We are seeking friendly and reliable juniors who are keen to Assist the Cook in our kitchen and learn how to prepare food for canteen service; and work as a Barista. Think of it like working in the kitchen at McDonalds or a Cafe and learning from scratch. If you have experience even better. ![]()
