Our firsts finished a respectable 5th 3 points out of the top 4, and our 23s are in finals next weekend. Our 23s are full of 17 and 18 year olds so the future is very bright. 📣 FQ ACADEMY LEAGUE Girls UPDATE Tomorrow night we are hosting an information night for anyone interested in playing academy girls in 2027 or 2028 for the first time. At the clubhouse from 6 to 7:15pm with our Head TD Juliano, Head of Female Football Dakota and President Paul. In 2027 we will have FQ Academy League Girls in Under 11,12,13,14,15,16 and 18. The fees for Under 16s and 18s will be reduced to ensure the success of our teams in these age groups. SEASON UPDATE ⚽️ Our 14s finished their home and away season in 3rd, with a last round 3:3 draw with North Lakes. They play their Semi-final on the 12th or 13th of September.⚽️ Our 13s finished their season with a 1-0 heartwarming win over Pine Hills.⚽️ Our 12s and 11s have 1 round to go on Sunday 6 September. 📣 As the season comes to an end for many of our teams this is a shout out to our Management Committee: 55+ years of RCFC management committee service between them.Please give them a ❤️ or 👍 to say thank you The heart and soul of our club: they run everything in the background for our 1000+ players, 81 teams. They have routinely given 20+ hours a week during the season as volunteers. 50 weeks a year they are on the job to ensure things run as smoothly as possible for each season. Management Committee service ⭐️ Paul Rushton 15 years, 12 years as President. Also Sponsorship Manager, Social Media Manager, Junior/Academy/Senior Presentation coordinator, and Mens Director. ⭐️ Craig Marriott 12 years, 9 years as Vice President. Also lines our fields every week, Groundsman, and Equipment Officer. ⭐️ Peter Morichovitis 6 years, Treasurer and Referee. ⭐️ Wendy Rushton 14 years, General Committee member, Uniform Coordinator, Blue Card Officer.⭐️ Matt Bunn 10 years, General Committee Member, manages our LinkedIn page, Metro Women’s Coach. In April we were joined by Arnon Yahav as a new General Committee member.
